BHN Earns Great Place to Work® Certification

"Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience," said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of global recognition, Great Place To Work. "Certification is the sole official recognition earned through the real-time feedback of employees regarding their company culture. By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that Behavioral Health Network stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees."
"While we're proud to earn Great Place To Work certification, we view this recognition as a milestone rather than a finish line," said Toni Hendrix, senior vice president of human resources at BHN. "By supporting and investing in our workforce, we strengthen our ability to serve individuals, families, and communities to help people lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. Through a comprehensive approach focused on financial support, professional growth, wellness, connection, social justice, and shared purpose, we believe employees do their best work when they feel supported as whole people, not just as workers."
Of the many initiatives BHN has implemented to ensure a positive employee experience, the organization introduced zero-interest loans to provide short-term financial assistance without the burden of high-cost borrowing and expanded access to the SNAP Relief Fund for employees experiencing food insecurity or financial hardship.
"Through the Staff Excellence Fund, we provide financial support for education, certifications, and skill development, reinforcing our commitment to career growth and opportunity," added Hendrix. "We also invest in workforce development through a Lunch and Learn series and a three-day Foundations of Leadership curriculum, which resulted in more than 400 employees completing the training."
According to Great Place To Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a Certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at Certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company's profits, and have a fair chance at promotion.
