The Carlson Recovery Center offers a first step in recovery for people 18 or older who are seeking recovery from active use of substances such as opiates, alcohol and benzodiazepines.
We are staffed by a 24-hour multidisciplinary team led by our Medical Director, a board certified Family Physician and Addiction Medicine Physician. People seeking recovery can stay at the Center for about a week, where they receive support and medical monitoring as they become medically stabilized and plan for the next steps in the recovery journey. We offer a trauma informed approach to care aimed at supporting the recovery process, which includes, but is not limited to: cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational enhancement therapy, mindfulness based stress reduction, and medication assistance for recovery. We help participants build an individualized plan for a life of wellness and supported recovery in all its phases.
A 30-bed facility providing an average of 14-30 days of stabilization services. We offer support to Spanish-speaking individuals through bilingual staff and literature. We also offer services to clients who are blind, deaf and/or hearing impaired.
