Senior’s Program
This program, staffed by an RN, Clinical Nurse Specialist and a Psychiatrist, specializes in serving individuals 55 years and older. The Senior’s Program is partially funded by the Community United Way and offers:
Comprehensive Psychiatric
Evaluations Psychopharmocotherapy Medication Monitoring and Maintenance Health/Medication Education Consultation to Primary Care Physicians Family Support and Consultation Outreach to clients in Nursing Homes, Rest
Homes and other Community Settings
Day Treatment Program
This professionally staffed and managed program has various specialty tracks for
individuals with an acute mental illness, a serious and persistent mental illness
or a dual diagnosis of a mental illness and an addiction. The Program is up to
6 hours a day, 5 days a week and provides:
Individualized Treatment Prevention or Reduced Length of Stay of
Psychiatric Hospitalization Stabilization of Acute Symptoms Psycho-education/Addiction Education Stress/Distress Management Relapse Prevention Group Therapy Discharge and Aftercare Planning
Partial Hospitalization Program This program is an intensive group based treatment for individuals who may be at high risk
of psychiatric hospitalization, or are returning to the community from inpatient
treatment and need additional stabilization.
